The workshop in the basement of 7 Carlos Place is the beating heart of Jessica McCormack. It is here that our team of master craftspeople, handmake our unique jewellery, using centuries-old goldsmithing techniques. Our instantly recognisable aesthetic blends antique inspirations with contemporary design influences, and our signature settings call on traditional techniques that have all but disappeared from modern-day jewellery making.

A workshop like no other, the beautifully renovated atelier is decorated with art and furnished with bespoke workbenches alongside state-of-the-art technology, reflecting the importance of this magical space within the Jessica McCormack universe. We are proud to showcase the incredible skill that goes into crafting our jewellery.

From our iconic Button Back and Georgian cut-down settings to specialised finishing techniques such as layering yellow gold over white gold, our in-house goldsmiths, diamond setters and polishers honour and preserve the legacy of these generations-old skills. With over 150 years of combined experience, they are among the best in the business, and are committed to passing their rare skills on to a new generation through our in-house apprenticeship scheme.

Every piece of Jessica McCormack jewellery is developed within 7 Carlos Place: imagined by Jessica in her design studio. Jessica works closely alongside the goldsmiths to push the boundaries of craftsmanship and creativity; resulting in future heirlooms that are as daringly designed as they are impeccably crafted.
